I like Jar Jar, never bothered me like he seem to do for so many and decided that one character ruined Star Wars for them. With all the cheesiness (is that even a word?) that you can find in Star Wars and you claim that Jar jar ruined Star Wars for you, sorry but you were never much of a Star Wars fan to start with. There are tons of childish things and lines in Star Wars, GL was never Shakespeare

What!!?? How could you not like Salacious Crumb!!?!! He has always been a favorite of mine. He's a crazy little critter. As far as Jar Jar goes, I don't hate him the way alot do and I actually find some of his stuff quite humorous. However, some of his antics are over the top and stupid and if they just went back and edited out a few it would make for a lot better film, talking about phantom menace of course. I do Love me some Star Wars though!

Great character. One of my favorite Star Wars characters of all time.

I only wish I could have afforded the $5,000 lifesize statue they made.

Plus he plays a vital role, in Phantom Menace.

If not for him, the Jedi's would have failed. Not just by them not reaching Theed Palace in time to save her. But also not being there to lead Queen Amida and the Jedi to the Gungan Sacred Place to get the Gungan Army for the distraction. Sure he's a screw up, but some of his action... show him with the heart of a hero.

You wanna talk about terrible characters... Darth Maul.

After Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine in the OT, we had a lame pitbull of a character as a Sith Lord. At least Dooku in Episode 2 and 3 was more in line with the sophisticated evil of the Sith shown in the OT.
