Just watched it tonight. I thought the video quality was excellent. The movie takes place in the open and during the day pretty much the entire time. The colors used are always very bright and look amazing here. Doing a comparison to the SDVD i found it quite noticeably better. Not much to say about the audio I didn't really notice much of an upgrade. The movie is pretty much all dialogue so having the HD track really doesn't do much here. IMO

'Napoleon Dynamite' looked fantastic on HBO HD, so I hope the Fox Blu-ray surpasses cable. I have it, but I've not gotten a chance to watch it.

One of the worst and most highly overrated movies ever. IMO it sucks and not even the least bit funny. I'd rather put needles in my eyes then watch this POS.

I liked the film and looking forward to a UK release. Only saw it for the first time recently.

BUMP

I've only seen a review out by DVDBeaver for this movie. Has any other site reviewed it yet? When's the Blu-ray.com review coming out?

Does anybody own this movie yet? What do you guys think? I'm debate whether its really worth the upgrade.

yet the link over at DVDBeaver doesn't work, it defaults to the 'Office Space' review.

as for the movie, I didn't really care for it... initially. But seeing it a second time, it charmed me alot more.

I am no BD reviewer but I thought the BD looked pretty good (4 star picture). The image looked a little washed out but I think that was the director's intent because the DVD and the theatrical release had a similar look. There was some noticeable film grain but nothing really bad.

This is a must own Blu-ray for fans Napoleon Dynamite. I am a huge fan; ND cracks me up every time I watch it.

The PQ is generally rated as good on most sites. There's some grain and whatnot, but that's to be expected. This movie was pretty low budget, right?

I've always like the movie (DRY Humour for me I guess)

you like the movie or you don't

I must say the PQ looks nice and crisp didn't see much to any grain. The audio track is not something that is going to wow you as they do talk simple in the movie and there’s no Gun fire or anything like that LOL

But it's very much better then the DVD

the Special Feat is lacking just like the DVD one

For $24.99 it's a must for anyone who has the original DVD and wants to build there blu-ray collection.

Looked great. very little grain. i sold all my speakers but it has a dts track. still as dumb funny as remember.

If you like the movie the blu is a step up. if you are on the fence, all of your wildest dreams might not come true. SO go make a dman quesadilla.
