Well, apparently, there are plans afoot to make a second Dark Crystal movie, and have been since 2005. Entitled The Power Of The Dark Crystal, the new film now has a freshly rewritten screenplay courtesy of Moulin Rouge scribe Craig Pearce, and according to Muppet News Flash (great site, by the way), the Henson company has taken on a production partner with the intention of getting the film out there for 2011.

Anyone excited at the possibility of a revisit to The Dark Crystal?
