Chris Brown is not a rapper, he's an R & B artist, or hip-hop. And sorry, but rap is nowhere near dead. Top selling album of 2008 - Lil Wayne, rap. Top song on Itunes - Eminem featuring Dr. Dre and 50 Cent. Rap is not going to die.

Have you seen the latest Chris Jericho video? Maybe he was well in his right to defend himself but it looks like it's a full on punch he threw. I'm def not down with that. What superstars don't seem to understand is that they ARE held to a higher standard then everybody else. Every little thing they do will be blown out of proportion. America loves rags to riches stories, but they love riches to rags stories even more. Every action that can possibly bring around the downfall of somebody, America holds onto very tightly and convicts the person with little to no evidence. It's gotten to the point where it doesn't matter if a celebrity actually did something, if the news, the internet, the next door neighbor says it happened it's true and they are guilty. It doesn't matter what the trial says because as we allll know "Money lets them walk, etc."

It's part of the price of fame, and they should know it by now with how many other famous people have been dragged through the mud. Britney Spears, A. Rod currently, Chris Brown now, Martin Lawrence with the gun in the intersection. Scandals are a thriving business, and if they don't want to be part of it, don't attain success on that scale.
