I've had the 990 and their amp(s) for a while, so I'm set. Still debating on their new 997 which should be out in March (according to the latest rumors).

I saw the website new 997 being price $1399. It's expensive for me. I like Harman Kardon AV/Receiver, So I prefer a separate amplifier.

Stop making fun of people who have language disability. It is not funny and very inappropriate.

I don't think Opi is disabled or impaired, English is just not his native tongue.

Thumbs up

At least he has good taste for audio

On a serious note, while he might be stretching his budget for the new 997, it is one impressive surround sound processor pre amp for the money! At $1399 it is cheap for a non powered processor and nothing seems to be close to the specs and features unless you spend a whole lot more cash. I can not wait to see the reviews of that bad boy and see how that Trinnov optimizer works.

Yeah, it's very serious buy a Preamp/Processor for professional audio/video. it not cheap preamp/processor. it's different hardware by AV/Receiver has build-in amp.

I prefer AV/Receiver with Preamp. Reason I like separate studio music.
For example, I want to play PS3 on AV/Receiver build-in amp. I want to watch a movie theatre on AV/Receiver with Preamplifier.

Question ? what ? I have no clue what you are trying to say to us?

I know English is not your fortay but a separate non powered preamp surround sound unit like the Outlaw 997 can do exactly the same as an AVR where everything is built in one device. The difference is the quality much better than any combo unit. It is a bit more expensive than any AVR but compared to other similar separate processors the Outlaw Audio 997 is cheap as most others are between $3000 to well over $5000+.

This from membername "Got Rice" with an... interesting avatar.

Honestly, you folks have to admit though that it's damn hard to understand an actual point in most of the posts. It's completely lost in translation.

Back ON topic, you talked about the model 2172 when you have pictured 7125. Did you purchase one? If so, which one?!

This screen name is not to poke fun of have any derrogatory connotation towards asians. I am first generation South Korean and love rice, it is my staple diet. Much like the campaign for milk "got milk", I am promotinmg my appetite for rice. The image reminds me of myself when I'm ready to dig in, so I hope this gives people a little better incite of myself
