The complete series...wow! That's awesome. I've held off from buying the series on dvd. Hopefully this won't have a retail over $200.

i don't watch it on TV, but have 1st/2nd seasons on dvd and the show is excellent. i've been holding off on s3 and the forthcoming s4 in hopes for a blue future

Now when they say "The Complete Series", do they also mean the telefilms Razor and The Plan?

So 77 pontential episode. That makes.. 77/29 is 2.65 Times witch makes

7 disc x 2.65 = 18.55 disc.. so 19 disc

117MSRP (Base on Star Trek 7 disc set) = 309.99$ Approximation of MSRP

Amazon cost : 30% off MSRP 92.99$ = 309.99-92.99 = 217$US

So if it's the complete thing and price of disc are the same as they are now. Be prepare to put 217$US on Amazon.com for this set. About the same price as 3 Tenchi movie releasing in Japan LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL L

euhm has anybody even considered that it may me the original series that is comming to blu-ray?? Because i highly doubt they will release all 4 seasons at once.

When they released Season 1 on HD DVD it Included the mini movie (serie) ... They already do that in DVD they release complete series once they all release on the format.

Rereleasing BSG on Blu-ray would take 3-4 years are 1 par years, witch is way too much time since it's dead..

I wish I had held off on getting the DVD sets. After I bought seasons 1 and 2.0+2.5 I decided to just stick with the DVD's. I can't wait to see what this baby will look like though.

He didn't mean the mini-series, he meant the ORIGINAL series with Lorne Greene.

ah ok.. :0 I doubt they'll bring this one over on Blu-ray. This one would need MAJOR restauration works to be acceptable on blu-ray imho..

Very, very, VERY excited about this release, but have some major issues:

a) It must come with both TV movies "Razor" and "The Plan" (its a no-buy without them)

b) From what I understand, the Season 1 transfer on the HD-DVD was quite lacking. Hopefully this will be be improved upon.

c) I also hear the packaging left A LOT to be desired on the HD. One wonders how they're going to handle a 20 Disc package!

The FX were excellent on this show! Can't wait to see them on Blu-ray. Damn, this company almost got the TOS-remaster contract too. Would have loved to see what they could have done.
