The CS1 is the one that has the same size drivers and efficiency rating as the Monitor 50's. The CS2 has larger drivers and is 1dB more efficient. I suspect you would be fine with either one. I would say the CS1 is technically the "matching" center, but if you went with the CS2 I don't think you would have any problems. It may even be beneficial, since most of your sound for HT use comes through the center channel anyway.

and to a post above, you guys mention monoprice.
it seems like a good site,
but is it pretty reliable?
i mean i am usually pretty iffy when ordering stuff online, i usually stick with amazon.
Monoprice is VERY reliable. They ship quickly and have great prices. Their products are top quality. I've never had an issue with anything I've bought from them. I've bought a TV wall mount, multiple HDMI cables, banana plugs and some other small items, and have made multiple orders. I can't say enough good about them.

oh ok that sounds pretty reassuring.
i mean Hdmi and shit go for over 100$, (or at least monster cables do)
so monoprice does seem like the place to buy cables and what not, i think i might buy the 100ft 14 awg there.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT buy Monster products!! Multiple tests show their $100+ cables are no better than anything from monoprice or blue jeans cable. Here are a couple of the write ups.

http://reviews.cnet.com/hdmi-guide/?tag=pm

This one basically says all cables and their performance are pretty much the same.

http://www.audioholics.com/education...le-bench-tests

The second article deals with long HDMI runs in particular, but ultimately states that for any "normal" length run, there is no discernible difference between all the various cables out there. The part I like best about it is that they used equipment loaned to them from Monster to do the tests.

I personally won't buy anything from Monster because they've intentionally driven so many other smaller businesses out of business through corporate bullying.

And back to the topic at hand, I'm currently using several HDMI cables from monoprice and they all work flawlessly.

yeah thats ridiculous.
my friend works at bestbuy and he can buy stuff from the store at cost +10%, (basically meaning he gets to buy things a discounted price, or what best buy buys it for plus 10 percent.)
guess how how much he get hdmi cables for
2.97 tax and all included.
it just goes to show how much they have been marked up..what a scam

Yeah it's a total scam. It's all well and good if your friend will pick up the necessary cables for you at his price, but if not stick with monoprice or blue jeans cable.

Hence the fireplace. It makes it nice and cozy down there.

Monster went after Blue Jeans Cables. Here is the page about it:

http://www.bluejeanscable.com/legal/mcp/index.htm

BTW, I have all Blue Jeans HDMI cables and think they are far better quality than the one Monster HDMI-DVI cable I have. Best $50.00 I spent for 4 cables.

I've read that once before. I got a huge laugh out of it. I love that someone was able to fight back successfully for a change. I've never used anything from BJC, but I've only heard good things about their cables. Thanks for posting the link. I didn't save it so I didn't know where to find it again.
