feel the same as most people, would rather watch it at home unless its a big film, last film i went to see was 300. I felt annoyed because i showed up early, a week after it was released and i still got a really bad seat.
Now when it comes out i will buy it and watch it at home with who i choose, and with beer of my choice, I can also sit where i like, not behind some one who is 6ft 9.

HT definitely. I only got out to the movies when my girlfriend can't wait for a movie to come out on disc.

Whenever a movie looks good I go and see it opening night at the theater and then still buy it when it comes to video in the store. For example, "Ghost Rider"- I seen it twice at the theater and going to buy it on Blu-Ray June 12th.

HT, no doubt. The last movie I seen at a theater was The Departed. It was fun, but it reminded me why HT is better than at a movie theater:

1. HT= no sticky floors(unless you are dirty)
2. You can drink beer at your house while you enjoy a movie.
3. Pause button
4. No distractions, and if there are, the rewind button.
5. Smoke breaks, or you can smoke while watching the movie if you smoke inside.
6. You can eat any food you want from any place at your house.
7. Bathroom breaks at your house via the pause button.
8. At your house YOU control the temperature.
9. Your ass does not fall asleep or itch after sitting a couple hours on your couch.
10. Did I mention that you can drink beer at your house

Hehehehe, that has to be the most 'blokey' reason I've heard so far. LOL!

Although I have not seen a movie at a theater in a long time. I think the theater gives you a movie experience you can't feel at home. Sure their are abnoxious kids, people blocking your view, and other public nusances.

My greatest experence in the movie theater was a long time ago. The movie was Legend of the Drunken Master (yes very long ago, though not last movie I saw.) i was with my friends and having a blast, the whole theater was realy into the movie too. We even claped at the end. No home theater could possibly recreate that expereince, ever.

But with the prices of movies skyrocketing, and me having spent a lot of money on a Home Theater, i have been watching movies at home.

11. no more paying $6 for a 12oz soda w/ 11 ounces of ice
12. no more paying $7.50 for nachos and an additional $1.50 for cheese
13. no more paying $5.00 for a bag of M&M's that costs $.75 at the gas station
14. oh, and you can drink beer at your house

I'm in the same situation, but we have good audio, and bad video. I went to see "Lucky You" yesterday, and the lack of quality made a good movie mediocre.
