Is Super Mario Bros. the most unlike the game VG game movie ever?

It had the characters but that's about it.

Resident Evil was done pretty well. I am also partial to the Street Fighter II animated movie.

I'm goin' with Mortal Kombat. Hopefully when they finally get around to adapting The Suffering, it will replace MK.

Not perhaps the best videogame movie, by any cinematic stretch of the imagination (we already have the Van Damme Street Fighter threads for that), but as for the boldest geek-faith attempt to capture what we imagined we "wanted" from a game movie--
