Please don't ever use Ebay again. I would never want to run into you (via your poor seller) on there.

That is high, but one of the main reasons that someone would use an ebay seller like this is because so many people are so leery of buying from a seller that does not have a history. You're not just paying for the service of having this seller put it on eBay for you.... but for his good reputation on eBay.... which takes a lot of time and effort to earn. I would also be willing to bet that this particular seller MAY have charged Carlsberg a little extra just for the hassle he put him through.... and I can't say I could blame him one bit for that.

We have a few stores around here that you physically bring in your items, and they list the items on eBay for you. There are employees, rent, utilites, etc. The fees they charge are worth it for people who are too lazy to do it on their own.

The OP is really wrong in this situation. Do you not know what a reserve price is? Even if you didn't you should know that ebay is an auction site, and there is a possibility that the item would sell for less than you wanted.

The title of this thread is misleading. You neither sold nor nearly sold your T.V. In fact you weren't even remotely close to selling it. It's probably still plugged in right now.
