The last time I had a 2k game was when 2k sold all their new games for $19.99, as some sort of plan to attack EA I guess. I think that was Fall 2004, so I imagine it was MLB 2k5. I never did like that game. The MVP series was ok, but I still thought it was too homerun-happy (though it was certainly an improvement on the Triple Play days).

Not to derail this thread, but here are my favorite MLB games of all-time:

1. Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball (SNES, 1994)
2. MLB '09: The Show (PS3, 2009)
3. RBI Baseball (NES, 1988)
4. Triple Play 2000 (PS1, 1999)
5. Super Baseball 2020 (SNES, 1993)

How can Baseball Stars on the original nintendo NOT be #1 on your list, GREATEST baseball game of ALL TIME!!!

I've heard of Bases Loaded I/II(NES) and Super Bases Loaded (SNES). All really good.

ive definitely heard of baseball stars. it was a great game! not number one on my list of nes baseball. 1 would be little league baseball and 2 would be RBI. oddly enough, little league is almost like baseball stars with the countries and kids instead of adults. i just felt like little league required more "strategy". i think they were made by the same company.

Well count me in the category of not knowing what one I wanted to pick up. Seeing this poll kinda tells me what one to get

The Show all the way! IGN gave it a 8.7 while they gave 2K9 a 6.8.

8.7? i just dont understand, i mean i dont think theres anything wrong with this game. x-play on g4 said the game is great the only lil complaint was lack of the toggle buttons use. so they gave it a 4 star.

the game is sensational, but it is only for the PS3. if it was a multi-platform release, it would get 10's across the board and would be the most groundbreaking sports game ever. people would be going nuts over it. cats and dogs would be living together. but...you can't play it on the Xbox 360, so only we know how good it really is.

Yeah I have a 360 and am very upset that there is still no version of the show for it.
