I just downloaded this game and played through about 5 minutes of it. Of course it's all in Japanese, so I don't know what the heck is going on, but my first impression is I want this game! The game is beautiful, the characters are ....."characters".

I hope this game comes stateside.

Mad character designs, atmosphere's like nothing else I've played. Action's intense while battling and I especially love tugging back on the SIXAXIS to pull the enemy souls out. Feels a bit restrictive between battles (taking into account that you can't go through many entrances in the demo) no interaction with items in scenery for example and invisible barriers.

It's definitely coming to the states, it was playable at SCEA's Gamers Day event a couple weeks back.

not yet, but Famitsu gave it a 33/40 (8, 8, 9, 8) which is great for that particular mag (and considering Folksoul is not a hyped game).

I downloaded the extra monster and replayed the demo. The extra monster really isn't that great but it was nice to see them do that.

I didn't either but I thought I'd try it anyway. It installed and when I played the demo the monster showed up. It's a flying creature with a pot and it tries to dump some green goo out of the pot on you.

That one was in there already but you have to play as the girl for it to show up.

Really. Then I might be mistaken. I hadn't played as the girl yet so when I saw the creature I thought it was the new one. Maybe it's not in the demo then. Apologies.

There's a custom dungeon maker and you can share your creations online with other players! It's difficult to gauge just how complex a dungeon you can create from the footage shown. A small straightforward design is shown.

Just found that if you push both analogue sticks in when the third (smallest) bar fills up white and flashes, you go into your charged UBER-mode.

Looks like we get it in October. Another game for me to pre-order.
