Naawww... the Scanning Code of Practice is only valid if the item has no price tag on it. After I read your reply, I went right in and asked two CSMs.

$5 blu-rays would be sweet!

Its not if there is no price on there just if its wrong from what i understand.

Then they give you 10$ of the marked price.

I had it on stargate was priced at 9.99 and when scanned came in at 14.95 or around there, due to the code of practice they gave me 10$ of the marked price so got it for free.

Same here, I ended up getting some of the $14.83 titles for $4.83 after they scanned much higher.

Where do i find the information that the titles are supposed to be 15$, near all titles are priced wrong at my wall mart everything has the more expensive ticket on it.

It may scan lower but is there a list wall mart puts out so at least i have some ideas before i go in there.

I know there is a list on here but that wont hold much water if i go in and its not priced at that.

Thanks

I tried to talk the CSM into the $10 discount for 10 minutes, but if you read the policy (its a white sheet about 5"x6", usually stuck to the little shelf at the cash register) it clearly says it applies to "non-ticketed items" only, meaning "without a price tag" -- all the ones in the stores I was in had the square white $14.83 sticker. The day I bought them, they all scanned in at much higher prices.

Because they HAD a sticker on them, they were only obligated to give it to me for the lower (sticker) price, not the extra-discounted one.

If you got your's with a discount and they had a sticker on it, GOOD ON YA! They don't know their own policy -- I need to shop at that store!

Ironically, the next day most of the movies had been re-priced with little green stickers with the original $3x.xx price and they scanned in at $14.83!! Gotta love the organization!

...and no, there is no price sign stating $14.83 -- they're just lumped in with the rest. If you're lucky, they might have them displayed in their own standup box away from the other blus.

Happy hunting!

Nothing else catched my eye, but I hit walmart quite often, hopefully I'll see something new again.
