Absolutely nothing.
I disagree.

It's {by far} the worst casting you could have come up with. If one person is playing him in the first movie, you don't switch the casting in the second or third movies {unless you hate your fans} and furthermore, if you HAVE to re-cast due to whatever reason, at least get someone who SOMEWHAT looks like the person you're trying to re-cast.

Billy D Williams looks NOTHING like Tommy Lee Jones.

Tom Welling would have made a better Mr Freeze.

Two different adaptations by two different directors.

That's like saying Nolan should have casted from Schumacher's Batman.

Nolan's was a reboot.

Schumacher's was a continuation of the story.

See the difference?

Then where was Michael Keaton? Different director. Different adaptation. Different vision.

Faulty logic.

Why was Alfred the same actor? You can't have it both ways.

I'm not using faulty logic. You are. Simply having Alfred as the same actor doesn't change the fact that Keaton is nowhere to be found.

Dude, why attack? Honestly, I just saw you're Avatar, and thought he would do a terrific job. Why the hate?

Asking a question is not attacking and it's a ridiculous statement.

You know, it sort of does.

Having Alfred in all 4 shows the continuation of the same series. It wasn't a reboot like the Nolan movies are.

Now, seeing as how it was a continuation, having Harvey Dent being Williams in the first one, and Jones in the 3rd one is {by far} the worst casting choice ever made. Not based on Jones' acting, but based on the fact that the two actors look and act NOTHING alike.

At least get it in the same ballpark, let alone playing the same game.

Logan

So If I ask you, Do you know anything about ANYTHING? You wouldn't take that as an attack?

I'm not actually asking you the question, I'm asking you a question about a question. I can't say someone would be better than Schwarzenegger in the role of Freeze in a Batman and Robin thread without being called irrelevant (let alone to any conversation)?

What purpose does saying Tom Welling is a better choice than Arnold have to do with anything about this topic?

Tom Welling would have been 20 years old when Batman and Robin came out. Victor Freeze is not 20 years old and there's no way Tom Welling could have pulled off Victor Freeze at 20 years old.

This is an asinine statement and really has nothing to do with this thread at all.

He's still 20 isn't he? Never mind, you're right, he sucks. I don't know what I was thinking. Sorry for bothering you.

It's clear that Joel's films were a continuation of the story. The fact that Batman kept getting recast in both 3/4 is not a valid argument when attempting to argue Joel's films were 'starting over.' Katie Holmes was replaced by Maggie Gyllenhaal in The Dark Knight, but the two clearly were part of the same storyline. People are recast in sequels all the time if the original actor chooses not to reprise the role because quite frankly, from a business standpoint, there's still much money to be made.

Once again asinine statement.

And you proved you did read my post. If he would've replaced Arnold then in 1997 he would have been 20.

No, he's not 20 now.

Just stop the asinine statements.
