he does not see any reason for his comics to be made into a movie. it doesn't matter if the movie is amazing or crap, he carries the same amount of loathing either way.

Yeah, they're two separate movies. The first movie is about the revolution in Cuba, the second movie is about Che's attempt for revolution in Bolivia. Each have different styles, aspect ratios, etc.

For the record, Che Part One was really good, IMO. I highly enjoyed it, then I went and saw Part Two and was nearly bored to tears. It's completely possible to see just Part One and be completely satisfied with the experience. And your local theater should split it up into two different parts. I saw one part on a Sunday afternoon, then the second part on a Tuesday afternoon.

At first I really wasn't expecting much from either one, but it definitely managed to surprise me.

Sunshine. I love Danny Boyle and sci-fi....so I should love it, right? Thats what I thought, blind bought it, and was really really let down. The whole movie was barely OK....but the end killed me.

Sorry man.

The Da Vinci Code

There was so much hype around the book, but the movie was kind of bland. The whole climax of the movie was just so anti-climactic.

Lots of great reviews on this one.

Body of Lies- I was all prepped up for a thriller but was disappointed with this story. The movie wasn't bad but I felt no buildup or suspense to the extent where it would hold my interest. Leo in the middle east speaking arabic and Russel Crowe trying real hard with that southern accent was a huge stretch to me. I actually fell asleep on parts of this.

I know I'm in the minority cause I see nothing but rave reviews about this movie.

I had no expectations. Could have been better, but it's still one of the most beautifully made sci-fi's...
The movie should have "spent" more time with the character's first, instead of forcing the story forward...

Me too, the beginning was intense and then it kind of died out.
Also the fact that I'm a huge fan of Ridley Scott, it's weird to be let down by one of your fav director's.

Exactly. I used to think that if anybody, the writer would be proud of the success V for Vendetta has seen. But he felt like somebody plagiarized his work and left out the central ideas to appeal to modern society.

The Matrix Revolutions is the one that did it for me. It's tone and feel is sooo different from the first one. The last two films in that trilogy are very different types of movies from The Matrix.

I don't hate it. In fact I can watch it quite fine but compared to the original, it was a dissapointment.

Undoubtedly Indiana Jones 4. Of all the movies, including Dark Knight, that I was very excited for last year, IJ was at the top of the heap. The disappointment I felt after seeing IJ4 actually ruined any excitement that I had for The Dark Knight, and I haven't had that giddy feeling I used to get for movies ever since.

But why did he ever allowed them to be made into movies, or was it a deal done behind his back by DC
