And HHH, same thing. He inflated during his injury period. I swore for awhile there Steiner was simply going to explode one day.

You talking about the one back in the early 90's about the steriods. When Hogan testified and Vince turned on him? I remember that. He left for WCW and when that got bought out by Vince Hogan had no choice but to ask for a job. He still has to make money by appearing in a WWE ring here and there. Same with Ric Flair and the other old timers you see getting in the ring. Those old guys hardly got any money.
No, the one that Raven and a few others filed a few months back

You're missing one indisputable fact.

They have the option of quitting once their contract runs out if they don't like the conditions.
These conditions are across all promotions, the WWF is still realistically the only game in town. TNA doesn't pay you enough to just wrestle for them unless you already made your name in WWF. TNA is going to run into the same trouble that WCW did. There's only so many high paycheck hurt guys you can absorb.

The point is that they're employees in everything but name, without the protections that labor law offers employees, and the only way to get that to change would be to form a union. A lot of the guys backstage feel that way, but most of them are rightly scared to voice it publically, because they know Vince will fire and blacklist them, and there goes their ability to make good money (or really any money, if you're not in the big leagues, you make NOTHING). Baseball players, football, basketball etc have these protections, plus they have off seasons, the team covers their travel, and at best they're gettingthe crap physcially kicked out of them once a week(football). Wrestlers are on 5 days a week being thumped, punched and slammed and it rips you up really fast. The only reason Hogan is still going after all this time is because he only did high impact matches for about 5 years. Then he got famous and did cookie cutters, and he can STILL barely walk.

Rock got out before he got badly hurt, he survives in Hollywood because he's got acting talent, which Hogan never had when not playing Hulk Hogan. Stone Cold, bombed out, Cena, only still going because Vince has got his back.

Stone Cold was walking on nothing by the end of his career. His knees were no more. He had a lot longer career then most people think. When he was in WCW as part of the Hollywood Blondes with "Flyin" Brian Pillman. And we know what happened to Brian.
