I see them as 2 things - dust covers and bookmarks. I like them too, pisses me off when I lose one or stores put the price tag on them so you can't keep them.

I used to be anal about slip covers. If they were damaged, I had to get rid of the whole movie. Im getting over it now. I have the Mummy movies and they dont have slipcovers.

Sometimes in Walmart, some movies with have the slipcover, but some copies of the same movie wont. Im confused.

I'm deciding whether to keep them (for sentimental value ) or throw them away (also with my PS3 games). Thin cardboard tends to rip easy. Has anyone thrown out their slipcovers?
i recycle mine, this debate goes back and forth and wow..this is thread # 2193082 on slip covers. YOU WIN THE PRIZE! (google image that btw :P )

I've kept Planet earth... Its more of a box cover and the same can be said about the Godfather collection. Dark Knight and Iron man are pretty much essential to have as it compliments the case and The Incredible Hulk. My most recent slip cover was Body of lies, which I threw away. Some slip covers really arent needed.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

OMG !! I feel like i have comepletly been ripped-off... Part of the reason why I like blu-rays are because of their covers. I love them like my very own babies...
Now I feel like my baby was born without a head.. WTF !

Well from what I can see it's random. I think, like that list says, some slip covers even get discontinued after awhile, probably to curb costs.

this has been beat to death, slipcovers usually are only on the first wave of movies then discontinued. Theres a link to a list but if you buy some of them now they wont have them regardless what the list says.
