Blu-ray Archduke

I totally noticed this the first time I watched the Blu-ray. I didn't think that it was that big of a deal. He is definitely mouthing the F word. I bet that they actually captured the audio of Heath saying it out loud but muted it in the sound mixing process in order to maintain a "family friendly" quality to the film. Ya, I know... it seems to be a strange combination. Murder, death, maiming, carnage, pure evil and they silence one curse word. But, hey. That's Hollywood for ya.

Of course. But, that doesn't mean that the director would necessarily want to have an improvised F word in his film. If it was a definitively better take than all others, Christopher Nolan would have simply silenced the dialogue for that split second in order to keep the entire film "clean."

he was upset, b/c he was hoping that batman would hit him and kill him thus proving that he is no better then anyone else. batman talks about wrestling with his morals to alfred later. the joker is certifiable and batman falling from grace would be an ultimate victory for him.

OK, now I know I am not the difinitive answer here on the forums. HOWEVER I JUST popped it in myself an went to the scene. I watched 2 times. HE IS mouthing it. HOWEVER, I don't belive it is an improvinsiation. (you know what I mean) I believe it was part of the script for the joker to say (mouth) it. Here's why. Like what was said earlier. He wanted to prove that the best could fall, he did that with Harvey, batman killing him, or simply running him over would be a great statment to that. ALSO joker said himself that he didn't WANT to kill batman, he said that in the room at the polivestation. CUZ he said I don't want to kill you, why would I want to, you complete me. What would I do If i did kil you. GHo back to robbing the mobs around here. Thats my take on it.
