Entirely possible. I had a friend who played hockey and during a hockey fight he fell to the ice and hit his head. He got up, was bleeding out the nose but demanded to keep playing. They wouldn't let him so he went to the locker room, undressed, waited for the team, and just as they got back from the game he passed out, went into a coma, and died that week.

How terrible. Those poor kids.

Isn't it odd? Liam finds this amazing success with "Taken," which Natasha actually tried to talk him out of doing, and then this.

I don't care that she's a celebrity, etc., but it just shows you how fleeting and fragile life is.

I know of a 7 year old child who fell off her bike and hit her head on the curb. She seemed fine and then died in her bed that night. The brain can't stand much bleeding or swelling before serious injury results.

Some of the reports make it seem to me like she had an underlying condition, possibly an aneurysm. I read at another forum that she was a chain smoker for most of her adult life. That might have messed up her arteries. Aneurysms are like high blood pressure. They just build up over time silently. The fall on the ski slope was described by one source as "not violent at all," but maybe it triggered the underlying condition?

That's a common practice in the media. They usually do it with people that are very old or very sick. They want to be first with the obituary.

Well you don't just have an aneurysm, it develops over time. The trouble is when it ruptures, and when that happens, you would know something is wrong. So it's unlikely the aneurysm caused her to fall, because she got up and felt fine for a while.

That's sad, she was a good actress. She played the loving mom roll well (Parent Trap) and the stuck up ***** trying to get down with a politician (Maid in Manhattan). RIP Natasha.

Exactly. It's more likely that the fall triggered something, if she even had an underlying condition to begin with. The ordeal might have just been a freak accident.
