I greatly appreciate everyone that took time to post here and wish us good luck. I also thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Lord knows we will have a hard time pushing through this and even though that I don't know any of you personally, it certainly gives me hope after reading what all of you have wrote.

Glad to know that even though it's over the i-net, people can understand how difficult this is.

I will try and keep everyone updated as this process goes forward. She is seeing a specialist today to discuss what options she has, if any.

Please keep her in your prayers. Thank you.

so sorry to hear that. I lost my grandfather to cirrhosis of the liver. It is never pleasant to lose a loved one.

This is the website that my aunt had set up for my grandma. She has surgery this past Wednesday and is doing remarkably well. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers please. There's still a lot of recovery to be done and she has chemo treatments coming up as well.
