I didn't buy it yet but I did get my copy in from netflix and just finished watching it. I must say I thought the pq was amazing, as good as The Corpse Bride or better but thats just my opinion.

Default Delay in shipping

Tried to stop at my local hollywood to rent.

They didn't have either the blu-ray or regular dvd version to rent.

Manager said they never received the shipment and should hopefully have wed.

I thought the picture quality was pretty good. Loved the fighting sequence in the rain.

Watched it tonight. Loved it in the theater, loved it on the second viewing, plus bonus point for the BR picture quality. I thought it looked great. The texture of their skin, the city seemed very vibrant, and the fighting looked great to. As mentioned above, the rain fight was still great too.

Did you watch Chicken Little? To me that was the best of the CG's so far. I bet Cars will blow them all away when it's finally released.

Eh . . . I'd rather spend the dollar more and not wait a week for shipping. We need vacuum tube shipping already! This is the 21st century!

I think that this movie looked amazing. Especially, as someone else said, the rain scene.

Good movie with an excellent BD transfer. Zombie I also noticed that Weinstein logo in the beginning of the movie hopefully this will mean that they will be coming soon to Blu-Ray!

That means nothing. The Universal logo appears on "THE HOLIDAY" on Blu-Ray. Sometimes they co-release a movie and it depends on who owns the home video rights will decide on the release.

Just finished watching it. Very good PQ and AQ. In the scene in the rain where Leo is talking to Raph, the texture of Leo's skin looks about as real as a mutated turtle can get. This particular scene had a very real look, and Leo seemed to jump out of the screen. The storyline is a little mixed for kids and adults, but overall it's an enjoyable movie. I don't regret the purchase.
