I agree he is a terrible actor but Judd Law would have been interesting. But no one is better then Bale.

Agreed Bana would have been great at it, of course not just impposible too imagine it. Many times these actors put their stamp on the role and it become's impossible to imagine anyone else doing the role, like thinking of Magum PI doing Indiana Jones

but you know that very likely if Tom Sleeck had done Indy, today we would all be saying how impossible it would be to think of someone else as Indy

Kutcher was very good in The Buterfly Effect, but he'd have to beef up considerably to play Batman.

Test for anyone playing Batman...act a scene as Bruce Wayne with your shirt off. If you're a plausible Batman without your shirt, then you're one step closer to being believable as Batman. Others are great at playing Bruce Wayne, but they need fake rubber muscles to portray Batman.

Bale owns the role of Batman, because he is plausible as Batman even without the costume.
