I have the 650 model (686 UK) and on the picture menu it gives you the option for BLUE FILTER ("Blue Mode" on / off) so should be fine to just use that (no red or green filter but just blue normally does the trick unless there are serious colour balance issues). Definately got to use DVE or that ACHD calibration disk to get it looking even better enjoy

So just switch on that blue filter (within the tv's settings) and do the appropriate tests?

If so, that was pretty smart of Samsung to include it.
