Definitely picking this one up!

Maybe Fox is waiting to release The Poseidon Adventure to coincide with when Warners eventually gets around to putting out the remake on Blu.

The towering inferno, earthquake, all the airports. I got all of these on DVD, I got the big Airport box set that came out 3 or 4 years ago. I also got The Posseidon Adventure....my problem is I haven't been watching them enough to buy them again on BD. I think I will just keep the DVD on these.

Interesting the back cover art lists a Poseidon Adventure trailer on teh BD release, esp since the DVD Special Ed went OOP and not really sure why.. maybe they will re-issue it and on BD also. (yet they didn't pull the Spec Ed of Towering DVD for this release.... so curious why Poseidon DVD went OOP)

Don't they usually re-release this and Poseidon around the same time? I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Poseidon on blu by year end.

They usualy are release together yes, as far I remember

I doubt it, Fox usually releases The Poseidon Adventure and Towering Inferno at the same time because they share the same audience. I don't think they are waiting for Warner to re-issue their crap remake.

I never double dipped for the SE DVD and I read that it was a huge upgrade. I think I'll grab this.

It says region A. Does anyone know if this will be region locked ? I don't want to have to wait for region B !!

if this was "zone free" then I would buy it ASAP but now I need to wait for the realse of this fantastic film to be relased on sone B.

Was thinking the same thing, I wonder if FOX is a studio that sends out their review copies later than other companies. Odd no listings yet on any of the reg visited sites I go to.

I know this is soooo odd no one has touched a review copy /// Unless FOX shipped them late. Driving me crazy I don't want to buy a DNR'd mess haha.
