Anyway, I'm not really that interested in 3D gaming. I think it'd be better if they worked on a more interactive sytle of gameplay. Some sort of sensor that senses movement, so you can lean left and right while playing, and its reflect on the screen (like peeking around corners). Am I the only one that sometimes leans to try dodging bullets in CoD? |

The 360 can pull off 3D fine. You see games on consoles don't really run off the media disc inside anymore. Most of them games information is stored on the HDD for quicker access. And the disc containing the game only needs to hold the information such as textures and sound. So DVDs can carry 3D game information fine. I am guessing the 3D wont be anywhere near as good as the nVidia GPU system. considering the 360 and PS3 GPUs are pretty dated and will probably have major framerate problems. I don't see the GPUs running more then 30fps per eye. And I don't get why people are so against 3D gaming it's not even using the red/cyan glasses anymore so 99% of the people shouldn't be getting headaches. And 3D gaming will be like real life except for graphics holding you back.

See they did this before with regular monitors with normal mocking with glasses that are clear..
To me that sounds like the best solution as the end user has no expensive equipment to buy and has a higher chance of marketing penetration, in my mind anyway but maybe im just wrong. |

Yes you would need a new TV to play it. The TV has to able to polarise. OR you could get the new Samsung monitors that display at 120Hz that are currently being sold with the nVidia 3D vision kit. I don't think I will explore 3D gaming on a console. I might might look into it in the next 2 years when I get a new high end GPU.
