WHAT!?! ![]() ![]() I consider a cinema theater THX 125 db is sound prefect. Most home theater is 90db but prefer 110db louder is too high. It’s problem less headroom. A separate power amplifier is more headroom about 50%. It’ll back to normal sound 90db That's my theory... |

Opip,
If you like power so much, save your money and buy a Cinepro amplifier. Cinepro is one of the companies that makes extremely powerful amplifiers. You can buy the 4K6 MK4 SE-Gold or 3K6 MK-4. They are 6-channel amps. They cost several thousand dollars, but can shake the foundation of your house. It will make your sister very happy. ![]() These are the specs: Cinepro 4K6 MK-4 Gold SE (6 Channels) 475 watts-8 Ohms per 6 channels 650 watts-6 Ohms 800 watts-4 Ohms 1200 watts-2 Ohms Mono Mode 1200 Watts, 8 Ohms 1400 Watts, 4 OHMs Cinepro 3K6 MK-4 (6 Channels) 450 watts-8 Ohms 600 watts-6 Ohms 750 watts-4 Ohms 1100 watts-2 Ohms http://www.cinepro.com/Cinepro4k6-4S...nersManual.pdf http://www.cinepro.com/Cinepro%203k6...s%20Manual.pdf http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volum...inepro3k6.html http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volume_3_1/v3n1b.html http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volum...er-6-2001.html http://www.hometheatermag.com/poweramplifiers/91/ http://www.audioreview.com/mfr/cinep...9_1583CRX.ASPX http://www.audiocircle.com/circles/i...p?topic=6650.0 Last edited by Big Daddy; 04-16-2009 at 04:10 AM. |
