In the terrible wake of Abbado's passing, Chailly has been handed the Lucerne Festival Orchestra baton. Emotionally enough, they have chosen to complete Abbado's Mahler cycle by recording the 8. I think this is Chailly's third high rez media release of the 8.

Has anyone physically gotten their hands on this new 8 performance by Chailly/Lucerne? There appears to be an availability issue for this disc, what with Amazon US and UK indicating for the past week or so that it 'usually ships in 1 to 3 weeks.'
