Was thinking also along the lines of groundbreaking movies like The Matrix, Toy Story, Terminator 2, and even The Dark Knight (IMAX sequences has opened the door for Transformers and Iron Man, already).

Although, sequels and similar movies have occurred for each of the ones listed so, tough to say what movie is truly "one of a kind". I'll go with Forrest Gump.

Still not sure why the shaking camera bothers people, I watched Cloverfield twice and it didn't bother me once.
