Season 7 has been wonderful

and a much needed turnaround after the terrible season 6. I didn't know the pre-order was available on Amazon----I will do that right now. This is one of the most popular shows on television, Probably Fox's flagship. I have no doubt they will make sure the video quality is stellar.

I will still wait til the other seasons start to get released. To me its pointless to get a single season especially when its still playing out on TV. Its not like i will watch this anytime soon if i had it. I might just before the next season starts again, but i would be buying it and have it sit on the shelf for 6-8 months and already have PLENTY of discs that are already doing that for me

I certainly do not want to double dip on TV series so i would like to see about a set with all 8 seasons also

hey does anyone know if they will bring out all 8 seasons on blu-ray what I'm trying to find out is where they recorded the previous 6 seasons that was not just plain old 1.33:1 or they filmed in 1.78:1 for High defintion?

Any one got any news or info on if they will come to Blu other than season 7- as i want them all!

I don't understand the question, but all seasons of 24 are 1.78:1 ratio.

Cool I couldn't understand how to ask it myself :P Lol all I mean is I didn#'t but the Seasons 1-6 incase they became blu. If I'm right in saying Friends was filmed in 1.33:1 or(4:3) so I was thinking hopefully they filmed 24 in 1.78:1 (16x9) because typically that would indicate it would come to blu-ray.

Reports are coming in that the boxset is region free, except for the first disc! What are they pulling here? I ordered this because a few sites stated this release to be region free and it shipped already

I don't understand, i just don't ... why did they do like Dexter season 2 ?

I'm with you on this. I simply can't understand why they would make a move like this. Now I have to find a solution to play the first disc. Does Fox issue stuff for single disc purchase?

I'm re-watching the show.
Holy hell, this afrika storyline is horrible and boring.
I don't remember anything of this season, the last time I watched it was when it aired.
I really hope this part ends soon or gets better.

You're watching the S7 Blu-ray? There was a TV film which is set to take place a few years after S6 and just before season 7 that aired on Fox. That was called Redemption and gave more to the Africa storyline, but yeah...it sucks! It does come with the 24 iTunes bundle.

Already watched Redemption, the extended cut.
It was bad!
I thought I remembered them both being better.
Hopefully, Season 7 gets better soon.Going in to 2pm tonight.

I liked how s7 took place in D.C. and not in Los Angeles. The season does get better and has its moments. I am long overdue for a 24 marathon. Enjoy!
