Just a way to get people to see Wolverine multiple times (I'm NOT falling for it!),I'd rather wait for the Blu,Movie Theaters are waste of $,after what you payed for admission, and crappy over priced concessions, you can get the Blu when it comes out for less than price of seeing it at a theater, usually with the AC broke down! Pretty sure movie theaters will be like VHS eventually,no more!

I never got this ideal. Are your theaters honestly THAT bad? My theaters AC has never been broken. We have amazing DTS sound, beautiful digital projection AND great prices to boot.

I think the same thing. I have some great theaters by me. I wonder what type of theaters are by some of the people on this board.

not to mention the fact that he said movie theaters will pretty much be like vhs. yeah right. i'm sure hollywood will allow that. they won't be able to make any movies if that happens. direct to dvd sales cannot recoup the money of big budget film. we'll end seeing crappy direct to dvd films. no more dark knights.

I'm not sure what to think of this, I find it anoyying that someone might get a better more well made ending to me, or even the origanal ending and I get a tagged on one, yet again I find this stuff kind of cool that you might get one piece of a puzzle and some one else in the world gets another piece and some how all the peices will tell you what happend, and you find out on DVD.

I don't, I mean I just hope this is a one time idea because a story has to keep its integrity. Imagine that Darth Vader is Luke's dad in one movie and Luke's uncle in another and Luke's dad's friend in another and so on.

I've already decided I won't see this movie because of this issue.

The movie loses its meaning in my opinion. So this one must be the only one like this please Hollywood dudes !

Actually each movie has a secret code - a set of orange dots the flashes on and off about halfway through the movie. Each print has it's own arrangement of dots and where they flash. Since the studios know what print is at what theater it's pretty easy to figure out where a pirated copy came from.

I find it offensively distracting.

I manage a six plex in a small town. The AC/Heating has been broken in one of our smallest screens since October. Two of our biggest screens have two a/c units each and only one each works. The owner can't afford new a/c units and they're so old they're beyond repair. The digital sound has not worked in our best screen for a few months but we finally got some $ to fix that. Seats are old, we have an ugly-ass paint job (pepto bismol pink), and they wonder why the numbers are dwindling. We try to make up for it in customer service and quality concession product at a reasonable price (if there is such a thing for concessions).

Okay....

....so a movie that's supposed to be based on a beloved Comic Book series has multiple endings?

How is that even possible?

If it's based on the comic book it should have ONE ending -- THE ONE SHOWN IN THE COMIC BOOK!

The fact that there is more than one ending solidifies for any fan of the franchise hoping they would do justice to the comic books with this one that....no, in fact they haven't.

If they're making multiple endings it is a definitive sign that they did not stay true to the source material, because the source material did not have multiple endings.

BAD MOVE.

Now I'm really worried about this movie.

this movie isn't based on a beloved comic book series. it's based on a comic book character. so that does give them a little more freedom to go in places they normally. most comic book movies are based on the characters and not the series, as that would be really hard to do. in order to be successful on two fronts. watchmen proved that. great film that was successful in it's adaption but failed to ignite at the box office. which in some ways shows basing comic book movies on the series can not always be good.

So, with multiple endings, what happens if they decide to make a sequel? Is it when the sequel comes out that we'll all finally know for sure which ending was the "real" ending? This sounds like a pretty stupid idea to me, and I think it'll cause more harm than good at the box office.

"Clue" got away with multiple endings because it was a comedy and was not intended to make any sense. A movie like Wolverine could not get away with this. I suspect these multiple endings are trivial brief spots that do not affect the story in any way.
