Cool Squirrel 101s theater thread

thought i might as well do one of these as well who knows i may be of some use to somebody , theater is still not 100% completed but is 100% functioning just need to finish some decor but now i'm out of money til' i sell some more of my racing assets, then i can build a lobby entrance reaching from the house to the HT the finishing touches are in the mail and when done i'll probably create a new gallery with hopefully some better pics of the finalized look: the screen frame is built with oak and wrapped in triple black velvet and i used Seymour acoustically transparent screen material and achieved a 51"x122" viewing surface as it is 2.40:1 scope, i built a stage for my 3 JBL stdio series L890s to stand on which are behind the screen and i have 2 more of the same to the left and right of the riser area of the room and then i used 2 JBL studio seris L830s for the 6th & 7th channels, all speakers are bi-amped i am using one receiver (Pioneer Elite 84TXSi) as simply a 7-channel amp for the low side of the speakers and the Pioneer Elite 94TXH as the main receiver/pre for the highs for the LFE portion of the audio i have 2 Polk Audio PSW1000 subs positioned slightly out front of the stage one in front of each of theleft and right fronts, the blu-ray is coming from a Pioneer Elite BDP-95fd bitstreaming to the 94TXH and DVD comes from a Pioneer Elite DV F07 changer , and then there's the crwn jewel of the theater the JVC HD-350 projector which is my first PJ and coming from a Samsung 5884 plasma i was not left wanting for picture quality at all as a matter of fact i think my black levels may be better, the only part of this room that i didn't do was the actual room construction and the carpet laying, everything else was DIY the front row of Berkline Reno seats are padded from head to toe and were well worth getting, i have a Monster remote which i believe was made by Harmony but i haven't got it going yet and the lights are controlled with a Lutron remote dimmer, before this website i had never been in an actual home theater or even known anyone with one so you guys gave me upgraditis and this is the result, thanks to all who have contributed their knowledge ie BrainSturgeon, Betaman are 2 that come to mind.
