Eventually someone is going to bring up Fedor. Do you think he is over-rated? Or is he as bad as he seems to be? I don't think we'll ever know until he starts fighting the top heavy weight tallent in the UFC.

Just got done watching The Ultimate Fighter. At the risk of sounding unpatriotic, I kinda hope that the UK guys win. The guys on team America are a bunch of tools.

That being said, it was pretty lame for Bisping to not show up for his team's fight I think.

Well, this thread didn't take off like I thought it would.....

That being said, who are you rooting for next weekend? I really would like to see Machida beat Evans. I would also like to see Hughes beat Serra.

Should be a couple of good fights.

I am pumped for this card! I also would like to see Machida win, but also want to see Serra beat Hughes.

I'm watching that this weekend. My friend that went to Vegas with us invited us out to a bbq at his house for it.

Won't be enjoying the bbq though since my tooth will be out

What is your drink of choice for the fight?

I think I will stop by a local brewery and pick up a growler full of fresh brewed IPA!

Since that may not be enough, I'll probably stop by BevMo and see what else fancies my taste buds!

The left over Jager from Vegas lol. We have more than half a bottle so I just need Red Bull. We have Grey Goose too.

I plan on getting buzzed enough that I can eat after having my wisdom tooth removed. We will see.

I just hope Serra really takes it to Hughes. As much as I respect the skills Hughes had, I still think he is a cocky a-hole.

For the carbombs....Never tried them but I've considered it. The problem is I really don't like Guiness.

I'm getting UFC for the 360 tonight! Wanted it for the PS3 but too many friends on Live got it.

I thought the Hughes/Serra fight was meh. The KO of Evans was among the most beautiful things I've seen.

Machida didn't get touched in almost 2 rounds. I believe he is the first person to win a championship without ever losing a round in the UFC. Very impressive. This performance has to move him up to being one of the best, if not the best, P4P fighter in the world.

Man, I wish I could have seen the Evans/Machida fight. My buddy who usually hosts the UFC get-togethers had other stuff going on so I didn't see anything until they showed Evans getting KTFO in SportsCenter's Top-10 late last night. Looks like Machida is the real deal.

It's funny how these guys burst onto the scene so quickly, then many times they are out of the scene just as fast. Remember when Evans came out of nowhere a couple years ago? I can't remember the fight off the top of my head, but it was one of those "Wow. Who's this?" moments for anyone who was watching. Just goes to show no matter how good you are, there's always someone out there better.

yeh its hard to see anyone beating machida. i was thinking if someone ever got him on the ground maybe he's vulnerable to submissions but the way he fights he hardly goes to ground. given the chance he always stands up and fights his game. he's going to be very very hard to beat unless someone really gambles. evans showed him tons of respect last night by staying away and we see why he did. interesting to see who he's going to fight next. i suppose rampage/griffin/maybe anderson silva are lined up.

i counted how many times machida got hit in that fight and i think he got kicked in the mid section and leg twice and punched during the flurry evans had 3 more times. to get hit a grand total of 5 times in a championship fight is amazing.
