Yup, as a 23-year old male, they got me. Mainly that video montage of the future at the end.

I have no issues, just watched last nights episode before this one and the combined 60 minutes of those is just a solid conclusion to Scrubs. I enjoyed the credits at the end with the shots of the cast and crew.

Agreed. They need to not bring this show back.

As someone who started watching it the very first night it aired and caught up with the DVD's, I feel like I emotionally grew up with these characters. I'm pretty much the same age as all of them.

I guess this must be what the Cheers finale was like for some people. I genuinely liked every character.

Ahhh...well...

Absolutely perfect.

Ditto. That was excellent. But I didnt cry as much as the one with Brendan Fraiser (SP?)

That was amazing though.

I have to agree....I'm 27 and I haven't cried like that since Old Yeller got shot. Perfect ending. I dunno how they could have done it any other way.

Glenn Matthews............just a quick fact, Bill Lawrence created a short lived cartoon called "Clone High" and Glenn was the name of the janitor on that show, and he was voiced by Neil Flynn.

I will miss Scrubs. One of the funniest shows to ever grace network TV.

..........................................and Hooch is crazy!!!

Excellent finale! Wife and I both agreed it might have been the best series finale we have ever seen. Also, the video montage of the future at the end was brilliant and stirred those emotions!

While I loved the montage of the future, I thought the ending would've been JD proposing to Elloit.

It didn't need it.

The show was always about JD and the world through his eyes.

A proposal would've been too....gimmicky.

Damn it. I forgot it was tonight. I already missed 40 minutes of it. With comments like these, I will watch the whole episode on internet or on demand later.

I have to admit, I cried at the end too. I watched this show since its first episode, and I'll miss it, but this was the way to end it. Great ending to a great show!

I believe ABC has been putting all the shows on demand through their website/hulu. I don't think this will be any different.

Definitely watch the whole thing.

Despite having some over the top moments, I've always liked Scrubs ability to connect with the audience and take a realistic view on alot of situations (not all happy endings for patients, romances, etc.).
[Show spoiler]Even JD's final exit where he had it built up in his mind as being one thing and it turned out to be completely different, that's one of the wonders of life.
If everything happened exactly how we want it to, where would all the fun and learning be?

Him proposing to Elliot would've been VERY cliche (see: Friends) but the way they wrapped it up with just a general uncertainty of the future and how the relationships will evolve was a great ending consistent with the rest of the series. Either going through high school, college, work, marriage, divorce, whatever, relationships always evolve based on everyone's own lifestyle (kids, marriage, generally growing up) and they showed what that could be like for these characters without making it cheesy.

[Show spoiler]Cox/Janitor are staying at Sacred Heart and seeing someone come through the system and now they are going to continue their careers and lives accordingly (each actually building a family). Carla/Turk are building a family, JD is taking serious steps to be a good Father, Elliot and JD getting together was predictable but they did it in a way that wasn't a cop-out like Ross/Rachel. Referencing older episodes and old characters, providing something new for characters like Kelso, the Janitor, and Ted, I have no idea what else they could have done to make this a better finale. I thought it started out a little slow but it sure grew by the end!

I agree, perfect finale, probably the best I've ever seen, especially for a comedy. As much as I love this show I really hope it doesn't come back. It just won't be the same without the whole cast returning.
