Then there's the win by caution. They get all excited when they won.

I think there is a strong correlation between people who like soccer, and people who call movies "films", and people who refer to BDs or DVDs they own as "titles" (e.g. "Not a lot of interesting titles being released this week.").

I've tried many times to watch soccer, and I don't completely hate it, but I can't really pay attention at all. Years ago I dated a girl who was from a big soccer family in the area, and did my best to learn the game (and learned it pretty well, after only a few nights of watching some ManU matches at their house).

Anyhow, this guy sums it up pretty well:

http://stuffwhitepeoplelike.com/2008...dea-of-soccer/

As for golf, that can be pretty boring too, but I find that the Majors can be fun to watch. The Masters, a few weeks ago, was a lot of fun, because I like Phil Mickelson, and his run on Sunday was a lot of fun to watch (even though he ended up not winning).

I voted baseball...there's too many games played.

Unlike football... every game counts!!

Soccer is hard to watch, period. At least in golf there are insane shots and putts made, not to mention the silence DOES add to the drama. Oh, I'm a huge Cowboys fan for those who were wondering.

Baseball

Soccer wins by a landslide. Hockey has just as little scoring, but at least you get to see some people get slammed into the boards.

I wouldn't count chess, ping pong, or things like that "sports", but they are pretty boring. Same thing for NASCAR... although there's always the chance a car might crash and fly through the air.

Football (not American football... football is so much cooler than soccer, that it deserves the name) is probably the most exciting to watch. It's the only sport that I can watch even if I don't like either team playing.

And this is coming from someone whose favorite sport is baseball, and is sad that football has taken over as America's favorite sport.
How can you say there is little scoreing in Hockey? What about football? Sometimes in Football no one really scores. It's just a few field goals. If everytime someone scored in Hockey and they got 7 points would you still say it has very little scoreing? 3-2=21-14...Football is boring.

Baseball is the most boring "game" to watch. How somebody could sit throughout 3 1/2 hours of that torture? Worse when they play extra time! ughh! Glad to see it has been removed from Olympic Games

So many in your list that a multiple choice would have been welcome.
Only interesting sport is also the most popular in the world: Soccer

I went with Golf, but baseball would be real close second and more in line of a sport. On the other hand since when is Poker a sport? And now don't get me wrong, there is nothing boring about Hockey, and even it is a massacre it can still be interesting, but somehow when Poker makes a list of sports there is something wrong with not having Hockey

yeah nobody seems to be able to grasp that. I could have swore a couple weeks ago the Hurricanes scored 9 goals what is that 63 points in football including extra points. Oh great game last night BTW! Go HAWKS!!

I love watching Golf, Soccer, Hockey, Football, Baseball, College Basketball, and even Tennis.....

It was a tough call, and even harder to acknowledge it as a "Sport" but I went with "Auto Racing" as it just nudged out "Bowling"

That doesn't happen in hockey often. Most games are 2-1 or 3-2. Ya if you converted them to Football scores (using TDs), they'd be the same.

Regular season hockey is kind of boring since they have so many games. Playoff hockey is awesome. Great win for the Hawks last night.

Hockey is a great sport that no one watches. Ratings prove this. NHL gets beat out by bowling, the X-games and cooking shows..there's a reason its on the VS. network.

For me it's always been baseball. A Few minutes of watching a baseball games put's me out like a baby. Plus in a few minutes nothing actualy happen's since it can take up to 5 minutes between pitches. I would rather watch grass grow then watch baseball, it's probably more exciting anyway.

A close second would have to be the NFL. I cannot understand how everyone can find the NFL the most incredible league in the world. The games are so boring I can't finish them. If you want to watch good exciting football, watch the CFL. The league is not over run by a bunch of wanna be superstars, the players are not over paied and they actualy break a sweat while playing. Unlike the great star of the NFL who would not want to have a hair out of place so they can rank in advertisment money.

Soccer is the most boring for me to watch. Most of the players are such big floppers too. Can't stand watching it.

Oh god, I freakin' HATE soccer/pansy football with a passion. Seriously, what is with my family when it comes to watching this sport? Is it the sponsorships involved? The hypnotic trance of the ball being kicked around? Are they under watch by the government? Well lucky for me, I've been wearing my tinfoil hat for quite some time now. People think I'm insane when I tell them that I don't like the sport, but I tell them that its the govenment thats making you watch it and buy into its products.

As for sports that are actually entertaining...do I even have to say which choreographed sport I like? Too bad its not like the Golden and Attitude Era's of yesteryear. I'm thinking of getting more into rugby and I'm already into American/real, manly, proper Football. Just wish the season lasted all year.

I have to disagree here, American Football {I call it sissyfied Rugby myself} is SO boring that they had to make the different point systems in order to spice things up.

With most other sports, with the exception of the boringest of all Basketball, you score once you get one point, or goal, with American Football {which doesn't even deserve the name, in the REAL football you actually use your feet for more than one play, American Football should be renamed Sissyfied Rugby, or Carryball the sport of body armor} you need to up the amount of points that anyone gets in a given play just to keep the folks in the fans from falling asleep and freezing of hypothermia.
