Yeah i believe i paid about 15 bucks for the pioneer ipod cable which allows ipod art to show up on the head unit. Loving it going from the stock delco head unit and tape adapter to this nav unit with the ipod cable, huge difference in sound quality.

I have a Clarion something-something-something (I think that's the model number )

It's a touch-screen retractable In-dash DVD/Navigation deal....
I connected a Sirius Stiletto to it....

That's it... I use the factory speakers (7 speaker/sub package) because I take the face-plate, and Stiletto out, and lock them in the console (I have a jeep, and keeping anything of value in plain-view is a risk.... I have the doors/top off all summer, and other times I have a soft-top, so my security can be breached with a butter knife )

OK - how bout some old school:
In my ext cab chevy S10
Alpine 9884 CD head unit with Ipod connect
Boston 4x6 dash
Boston 6.5 doors
Sound Stream EX10 Sub in custom enclosure w/.72 cu ft air space
Sound Stream Class A 50 on 4x6s
ADS P120 on 6.5s
Sound Stream D200 (first generation) mono on sub
All interconnects and wires are audioquest
Audio Control 2XS crossover
I had a lot of this equipment from decades ago. I did not want to spend the real cash for high end separates - we'll see how long I can fight the urge.
For right now I am rocking and happy.

I just have a 12" Kicker Solo Baric powered by an Alpine amp, can't remember what kind, just know it is supposed to be overkill for my sub. Stock surround speakers in my Civic.
Have an iSimple connected to my stock stereo faceplate that comes up through my center console so it looks like I don't have anything of value in the car.

Years ago I decided to make the MD investment switching every component out from CD to MD because the system I had at that time would vibrate so much CDs plaied in my car would skip and get ruined. This is my MD player A Sony MDX-C800REC RECORDER- it can... record in the car!! Off the radio or from a CD or MD changer. (I have a cd changer but its not hooked up) I hate CDs. But to make the jump to digital is out of my range at this point. So im stuck in the past lol

For sound I only have 1 Mephhis 12" M3 DVC 4 Ohm Sub Woofer modle no. M312D4. It pushes 500w RMS and 1000w peak!
Supplying its power is a Memphis16-MC600D. (I dont remember the power rating) Its a 5 channel amp that supplys power not only to my Sub but the 4 speakers upfront.
In the doors I have JBL Power Series p650c component system complete with tweeter and cross over. 90W RMS and 270W Peak.
In the back side pannels I have JBL Power Series p652.75W RMS and 255W Peak. Keeping everything powered is a Deep Cell Battery OPTIMA D34/78 which runs through a 140w Circuit breaker. I bought JBL by mistek.. I had the brand JL stuck in my head. After everything was installed and I got home I was like oops.

Its not much, I know- but it gets the job done
