Finally getting a blu-ray release. Thank you Jesus. This is way better then the original. One of the best horror movies of the last 10 years.

Great news indeed. Can't wait. But I wouldn't bash the original.

Thanks for the info. This is actually one of my favorite horror movies. I've probably seen it 3 or 4 times lol.

I doubt this will get a digibook. Warner usually only puts movies that have made a genuine impact on American film culture in the digibook packages just like all the big classics get the collectors sets. This is just a remake of an old horror movie, but I would still like to have both.

i just hate how digibooks look on my blu ray rack....I like a nice clean look... never really cared for special features or colorful pictures... Im sure a lot of people like the digibooks, just not my cup of tea

I assumed this is the cover they would use for TCM03, but I wasn't hoping they wouldnt. The original theatrical poster is much better IMO.

Thumbs up Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003

September 8, via Warner Brothers

Finally! I've been waiting for this announcement since I started my blu collection. The cinematography itself makes this probably the most beautiful horror film you will ever see. I'm sure the PQ will be excellent on blu, here's hoping WB doesn't make this transfer soft.

Looks like most of the special features from the Special Edition DVD will be included.

Worth getting just to see Biel run around dripping wet in a see-through top for most of the movie.

i seriously can't wait for this. The sound alone on the first teaser they released was amazing. In the theatre it went all black and than it was just the loud stomping of leatherface going around the whole room and than right behind you. Freaking awesome can't wait. Im sure it will look amazing also, with the muted colors.

word. My TCM collection would then be complete with the original, remake, and remake prequel.

No need for the other sequels, although TCM 2 and 3 were somewhat decent. But not worthy.

Hopefully we get "The Hitcher" & "Amytiville Horror" remakes soon to. Although they are all different studios.
