Vizio beats Sony and Samsung last quarter!

I had a reliable 32" Vizio a year and a half ago, for about a year - very reliable television, never had a single problem with it. Still serving its current owner well, problem-free, last I heard. Obviously, picture-quality wise, they aren't a Samsung or Sony, but for the less-disparaging eye, it's fine.

I wouldn't say most consumers but I would say that a handful of consumers do shop like that. I remember on Black Friday at Walmart, people were saying things like "Wow! That's a really good price! And it's a Samsung! Put it in the cart!" Some people don't need to look at the actual TV in action to buy it. If anything, it is similar to blind-buying Blu-ray's or purchasing audio equipment online without knowing what it really sounds like.

What garbage did he spew? He stated his position and opinion as to why Vizio outsold the other companies and that it doesn't necessarily mean that Vizio is the better company.
