I wonder if anyone is willing to do a spine for the new Despicable me steel from Germany, it's got a weird title so if anything needs one I think it's this, cover is lovely though.

Hi Steve,

Looks really good. Can you take a close up photo in day light and give me some more details on how you printed the back.

Is it a sticker or did you print directly onto the steelbook?

Best wishes
James

Both the films were distributed by Universal in the UK. I have them on order, and I also have OCD so it would really be a great treat.

They all look great though. Too bad the same sort of method can't be applied to the backs of steelbooks that have printed info on them (German Transformers being a prime example).

If you do those alternate spines, feel free to leave off the age ratings.
Hi Billz,

I've created the alternative spines for you and sent then to Steve to upload. Hopefully he will upload them in the next couple of days for you.

James

Still have Battlestar Galactica, Fight Club, Minority Report and Terminator 2 to complete.
Those horizontal designs work really well, that opens up some interesting possibilities. I've been thinking of what to put in my Psycho steelbook, horizonally I could have this which I think would be very nice.

Here is what the Shutter Island looks like with the spine in the right direction.

How is the best way to dismantle the steelbook shell, without damaging it?

I used an old credit card , put it between shell and tin closer to the spine and make some pressure .

At first time it was dificult, but with a little pratice you do it in a few seconds...

Glad to help
