Does the US release have the Alternate cover that the Australian release comes with? (the woman on the front naked rather than clothed).



I saw that guys review video, but I couldn't tell from the glare of the camera .

I kind of asked this before but all the details I find on the release I'm not sure. Dealing with the animal cruelty sections of the film does this release also feature the same film just with those scenes cut out?

I know the film is uncut and I am all for having uncut versions of films available but animal cruelty / real killings on film I can't handle. Keep in mind not many films shock me at all.

I just think it would be good to have the restored print at 4K just minus the senseless for film killings of the animals.

I have to say the embossed slip looks good and I would bet the transfer and audio are top notch. I really love the Grindhouse BLU's i've already purcahsed. Corruption and The Swimmer are must owns. I still need to pick up the Big Gundown.

I don't like the animal cruelty either but not having it in the film really destroys a lot of the shock factor and diminishes the experience.

Is the Cannibal Holocaust slipcover limited in anyway? And which Grindhouse blu-rays have slips? And is the slipcover shrinkwrapped?

It's more of a slipbox. I don't think it's limited, as the CD is packaged separately from the BD case (both are housed in the slipbox, and yes, it was shrinkwrapped ). I believe Diabolik is the cheapest place to get this, at the moment (that's where I got mine).

Don't know about the other releases regarding slips, though.

They are not, actually. K-mart (WTF?) has them for 22.49 and Barnes and Noble has them for 24.18.
I've decided to cancel my order with Diabolik and re-order through B&N personally.
I WOULD'VE gone through Amazon.ca but for some stupid reason they won't be getting them until July 29th
