GIVE ME THE 4hr CUT NOLAN!
Honestly 4 hours...you guys must be kidding. That film would drag at 4 hours. Was pretty much a perfect length as it was. Why must every film these days have some percieved directors cut. Cant what we see at the cinemas actually be considered the directors vision??

I seriously doubt they'd print a 4 hour cut. That's one person saying they wish that. Bu if Nolan and co. filmed the scenes in question, they should be provided, at least as deleted scenes.

The movie's fine as it is at 165 min. It is very long, but it doesn't drag. But an increased running time would just do that. And I don't want that. Deleted Scenes in the special feature section are more than welcome, though.

Am I the only one here who doesn't give a **** about packaging? I just hope that the 35 mm scenes don't get scanned from the IMAX DRM.

No one on this page has said anything about packaging, so I'd venture to say you aren't the only one.

I'm not usually interested in special editions but I would buy that in a heartbeat!

I hope I get the 3-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack with the IMAX scenes. That will be awesome. I'm fine with no director's cut. Deleted Scenes - that's okay.

That's the idea! I hope they really consider the director cut version. I agree 4 hours is too long, but at least they can make use of the raw copy to fix the editing problem in the movie and add more scenes.

UPDATED: I take back about saying 4 hours is long. If that's what Nolan wanted from the start I say bring it!

Me, too. It would also be nice if we got the deleted scenes featuring Bane's origin but, I doubt it since BB and TDK didn't have any on their Blus.

The theatrical version IS the director's cut.

Nolan doesn't believe in doing director's cuts on home video. But from everything I've read, this film definitely had enough cut out out of it to either be quite a bit longer or even to be two films.

No, this is one of those films that could use an Extended Cut. More of Bane's origins and more scenes with Batman
[Show spoiler]bonding with
Catwoman are in dire need.

Even the best directors don't always get it right the first time.

Agreed. I enjoyed it but, this film had too many plot holes, too little character development, and many things felt rushed and forced like how Selina and Bruce end up together despite having zero chemistry and not indicating any attraction to each other at all throughout the rest of the film.

Maybe those who wants a directors cut or whatever didn't enjoy the film...

That doesn't make sense. So you're saying people can't like something enough to want to see more of it?

For the record: I like the movie just the way it is. It may even be a tiny bit too long (can't see what would be cut though). But would I say no to more footage? Hell no.

Yeah, what a strange position to take. I felt TDKR was too short and definitely would have liked more footage, especially anything involving Bane's background and Bruce's 8 year hiatus.
