Probably because thehut's stock system is rubbish, very often they sell stuff they don't have. Amazon aren't going to price match non existent sales.

Finally decided to give in and pay with a method other than Paypal.

I used a "first order" coupon code and expected 5% off, but got 10%.

Snagged 4 for £13.46 each includuing free delivery to the states, which I am pleased with.

Here's to hoping they arrive unharmed.

Thanks for posting that. I've seen a lot of members talk about zavvi, but had never ordered from them before. If they still have the WB steels, in the new year, I might place an order.

got all the collection from zavvi with a discount. only 1 was damaged and they replaced it straight away

Does anybody else's spines for Heat and Inception look like they aren't printed correctly? The one on mine for Heat is printed right down the bottom near the back of the case, and Inception has it printed near the top by the front of the case. They are normally central, and I just want to check if anybody else has this problem, or is it just me? It is only these two that have this problem, the rest are fine. They just look out of place

I've seen quite a few that are printed too far to the left or right.

Not WB, but I had 2 Amazing Spider-Man's arrive today and one had a spine with all the text central and the other off to the right. It happens.

So far so good. No damage to the first 3 received. They actually came in non padded brown cardboard envelopes.

I have received Troy, Inception, and Se7en (each shipped individually). I have not yet received Matrix.

As for return policy, not sure about Zavvi, but with TheHut, I have to send back the Ghostbusters steelbook as there is paint spotting on the front cover.

They gave me a return authorization number and said it will be no problem and that I just need to send them my return shipping receipt and they will refund it.

Zavvi is part of TheHut so I would assume they have similar policy.

Hoping they have them at the same price as the ET and Jaws steelbooks in the Black Friday deals.

I've got it in my cart, but here's the downside for US customers: I can't get all the SB's on one order, as you only have 15mins to checkout.
Is there any way around this? The shipping would be much more for each single order.

Yeah, pretty weak. Perhaps this is exactly the reason they're doing this. Though I think even with the individual shipping there's still a significant discount from the 18 and 22 pounds that they normally sell for.

Can't Amazon merge the orders?

EDIT: Just had a look and they are not selling that quickly, only 27% claimed so far. You might just be able to get more than one steelbook on one order.

I just had a "chat" with Amazon, and the rep said it wasn't possible. Bummer!
They are still a very good deal. I just won't get all of them, I suspect.


Edit: I AM Legend is only at 27% sold, right now. So I've got a little time to "ponder"
