Got to my Local just after 10h00,,Grabbed 2 of the 3 that were still on the floor cart,,along with The Hobbit 3D..

No copies at my regular store. Luckily I have another store only 10 minutes away, and picked up the only 2 copies they had (one for a Canadian friend on another forum).

2 copies at my store. I knew based on what was being reported here that they might not have any. Sucks for those going during lunch if their stores don't have any.

I arrived 30 minutes after they opened and they only had 2 copies left on the shelf. It was not in a display by itself rather on one of the four sided island things by the video section. This was in Murfreesboro, TN location.

walked into BBY at 10:10, the guy was taking them off the cart. I got the first one, and they had 5 more.

My store only had one and i was the first person to walk in after they open and i ask where can i find it and the guy found them and he was like

is it just one and he got on his mic thing they be using and ask the manager and she said they only got one steelbook... now thats crazy just one

So I preordered first thing this morning then during lunch rushed over to pick them up. So happy to see no lines, then they pull out the regular bluray and not the steelbook.

Fortunately, they had three left so I picked up my two and was out of there. I am glad I didn't wait until after lunch which of course the guy agreed...but had they pulled the movie properly, I wouldn't always be so worried.

You would think that they'd check the SKU when they pull the online orders. But I guess that makes too much sense...

Exactly why I went at doors this morning, didn't want to leave anything to chance. Glad to hear you made out alright and didn't get burnt due to incompetency on their end.

Yea, I worried all morning until I was like, "I can't wait anymore!" Then rushed out actually 5 minutes early... lol. SO glad it worked out. These weren't even for me so it made it all that more important.

BB needs to start implementing 1 or 2 copy purchase limits per customer for these limited exclusive releases.

my local store had about 15-20 copies.even more surprising was seeing 10 copies of badlands,which is the most stocked criterion title ive ever seen on release day at Bby.
