That's a very nice view and 58° F is lot nicer than the 24° F here, but not enough to get me to move...even if you throw in better internet service.

Now, if we're talking the 78°F that it is in Bora Bora right now, I'll pack my bags...with or w/o internet service.

Merry Christmas to you Vilya and all the Guys! It might not be Bora Bora, but where I lived before in Palm Desert, CA it will be 80° F tomorrow...Very Nice. That was my house on the Golf Course with the Brown Wrought Iron Fence! I was Living the Dream!

I love the first two Cloverfield movies and double dipped them both. The Atmos mix on 10 Cloverfield Lane is one of my all time favorites. I rented RIPD back in the day but did not enjoy it for some reason.

A just in case you missed it post, another new UHD Blu-ray player, the Magnetar, here, thread here. Value Electronics has stated they will have it in the US.

Busy with Holiday stuff the last several days but I hope everyone here had a Happy Holiday and enjoyed some movie watching. We watched Glass Onion which was great. Here's hoping it gets a 4K release down the road.

Does DTS not decode as well in Dolby Surround? Noticed some gunshots in a show I was watching were quieter. But I heard DTS Neural:X is a bad upmixer. On my old receiver, I could only upmix DTS with DTS.

Choice of which upmixer to use is all based on what you prefer in your room with your setup and settings. I wouldn’t say that Neural X is a bad upmixer as there are those who prefer to use that over Dolby and Auro, just like there are those who only use Dolby DSU and some who go with Auromatic.

Curious if you did an A/B with the same scene with both Dolby DSU and Neural X?
