I was going to get the 4 disc edition of toy story 3 but I didn't like the black paper insert for the cover, the insert of the 3 disc edition is different and looks far better plus it also matches the toy story 1 and 2 blu-ray covers better so I decided to buy 3 disc version instead. Besides I can still use the dvd with the 3 disc edition as a digital copy anyway by using 'handbreak' to convert it into an mp4 file for use with my iphone.

I bought the 4 disc because I thought the exact opposite of what did. I think it matches the original 1 and 2 much better. To each their own I suppose!

Bought: The Book of Eli

Underrated movie. It has a narrative that packs a punch and the action sequences are well staged. Not to mention, the cast!

Not a bad film, I felt the ending was a little weak though,
[Show spoiler]i.e. he's given his whole life for this Bible and it just ends up as one more religious book on their shelf. Guess it's the easiest way not to offend.

My only gripe with the ending was the way they left things with Solara, which didn't fit very well with me. Otherwise, I think it's an above average Hollywood action flick with a lot more thought gone into it.

I'm not really buying it for 3d but more for the picture quality, the design of the tv and I wanted a panel which is a bit bigger than my current 40". I don't really like black tv's, I prefer my components to be silver as it looks more stylish in my opinion. plus the ua46c8000 is one of the best looking 2d high def led lcd tv's on the market at the moment. When it comes to the 3d feature I have spent quite a bit of time comparing the ua46c8000 to Panasonic (and Sony) 3dtv models in many stores and I actually think the 3d feature looks better on this model Samsumg despite what some people say about how good Panasonic 3d tv's are.

I bought the changeling today

Interesting that you say that about the picture quality. From what I've seen of them (and I admit this is in-store only, but I was quite thorough as I was assisting my brother in making a purchase as this was one of the ones we checked out) there were a few issues that I ultimately thought shouldn't be there considering the asking price. The black levels are a bit so-so (they can trend towards being a bit bluish at times and not the inkiest blacks I've seen from an LCD), the edges seemed to have light spots, the colour saturation and vibrancy varied greatly when changing the viewing angle by only a small amount and the fact that it's a 3-D TV and it doesn't come with the glasses is a bit rude considering the asking price.

I completely agree regarding the aesthetics, it looks great and would be fantastic wall mounted but it was quite a bit of a let down. Ultimately when shopping around my brother picked up another TV as his priority was 2-D image quality and it seemed inferior in that department which has apparently been a bit of a common complaint regarding 3-D TVs though some fare much better than others.

The Samsungs come with 4 sets of glasses, 4 3d blu-rays and a 22" led lcd tv for free via redemption at the moment. My brother works for Harvey Norman so I have had plenty of time to experiment with this tv, I play around with many different tv's for about half an hour ever time I go to his store. I haven't noticed any of the issues that u mentioned seeing with this tv, though I have noticed that the 46" performs better than the 55" model but is only really noticeable when seeing them both side by side. Also almost every review I have read on this particular model Samsung praises the 2d picture quality for the most part saying that it produces some of the best blacks ever seen on any led lcd (which I agree with) but criticises the 3d feature saying that the motion is sometimes a bit jerky which I have noticed a little myself while using the 3d feature. Its not really the greatest idea to view this tv at stores like jb hi fi because their lighting is really bright but stores like Harvey Norman have a lot of their tv's setup in area's with less light so u can get a better prospective of a tv's true performance.

Yep, tested this one in both Harvey Norman and Domayne in their dedicated home theatre rooms. I would never use JB as a guide as firstly their lighting is ridiculously high and not only that but it's fluorescent which makes it an even worse environment. Every TV in JB is basically set to "torch" mode in an effort to give it some pop in the lighting conditions.

For the record we were looking at the 55", so perhaps there is a difference with the performance between the two. This was also about August or so and they might have changed what was packaged in it. So they should as selling it without glasses was ridiculous.
