Fopp is very dangerous indeed and I came out with some more shiny discs. The copy of The Sheltering Sky was given to me by it's producer Jeremy Thomas who I got the great privilege of interviewing on Monday up at his office and it was amazing, top bloke as well.

Hope that The Girl Who Knew Too Much is still low-priced next weekend if I can get time to pop into Fopp. How much as Medea, assuming you got it there too?

Vampire's Kiss is a guilty pleasure of mine...definitely a DVD you'd watch more than once (just for sheer entertainment). Also, one of my favourite bands plays at the start of that film (which is an obvious bonus).

Few of the new arrivals so far this week

Batman TV series

Dune series - Got sent the series by accident when I ordered the US version of the movie, so got the series at a bargain price

Devils Double Steelbook - only cost me £2.50 so a no brainer at that price

Robin Hood: Men in Tights

The Pagemaster - cant even get this on DVD in the UK

Come back a couple days early in the film festival, so I had a massive backlog of post. Screeners of Black Cat double bill, Thieve's Highway, The Fireman's Ball, The Falcon and the Snowman, Requiescant, Dragon Gate, Lorenzo's Oil and the boxset of Hitchcock presents coming out later this month.

If you are allowed to talk about it, and you get to it soon, I would love to here about Thieves' Highway.

Cronos - OOP UK version. Going to swap the case on this, not sure which colour to go with though.

Black

Or red

Blade Runner 5 disc jumbo case version - swapped it to a 5 disc black Amaray instead of an ugly Elite case. Really like the holographic effect.

I like both cases on Cronos, but I think I'd go the black one
