It's been six weeks since he ordered. I don't think that he's making a big stink and wanting his "movies as fast as possible..." Back in the day, mail in purchases used to take four to six weeks for delivery. With modern technology innovations, an in-stock item should easily be able to be delivered within six weeks.

I understand ordering from code red can require more patience than if someone orders from a large online store. But how much patience should someone have when their payment has been accepted and there has been no communication or items delivered in six weeks?

It also has to be taken into account that Bill was sick and took a bit of time off, so nothing was shipping during that time, about 2 weeks or so i think...im sure the order will get there, as has been stated previously, Bills never screwed anyone.

I know it's a long time to wait. My last Scorpion order took about 3 weeks to get to me.

Last year I ordered from the Disney Movie Club and about 2 months later I called them saying where's my order?! They said sorry for the delay it should ship soon. Altogether it took 3 months to receive (one additional month after I called)

I think everyone is missing my main point and concern. I do not think I will not get my order, I am sure I will eventually. MY point is the lack of communication.

thats the crappy part of ordering from a one man show, to you its your 1 or 2 emails youve sent, to Bill its 1 or 2 of a couple hundred that he gets in his email inbox...try messaging him on the code red facebook page.

If the 45 day window on PayPal was closing I wouldn't feel bad about filing a dispute. 45 days is too long period. If Bills sick them he needs to refund every order and tell everyone to reorder when he's better. There is no good reason why anyone should wait 45 days for an order to arrive.

Seriously? Are we dealing with Kim Jong Olsen here? Hahaha. File a complaint, get your money and spend it with a company that wants your business, not to feel pity for them.

There is a confusing amount of venom here; these movies are a hobby from a company that seems just as much a passion and hobby for the owner. He may be more casual in some cases but there's never been a report of people being ripped off or not receiving items. Do people expect Bill to show up on YouTube singing and dancing for orders? These niche cult movies eitber sell themself or they don't and there's not a huge market. Demanding rigid professionalism seems silly considering the small miracle many of these show up on bluray at all.

Rigid professionalism? Asking for replies about something you paid for? You are right sounds like Nazi Germany.

Have you tried to e-mail Bill or contact him on Facebook? I have had easy success in the past with that.

I know if people start acting pesty and unfair Bill has joked about taking his time with their order; which isn't funny if you're on the receiving end.

Posting on blu-ray.com doesn't offer any privilleges, there's no indication studios/companies even read these threads. Even if the case were otherwise it'd be anyone's guess which order belonged to "HorrorBlu."

Bill is on here, and posts on here. Another poster posted on here a while ago using his username (ie not his real name), saying that he hadn't received his order. Bill responded.

Do people really have to keep making up excuses for this guys complete lack of customer service ?

I just find it confusing how a few people circle around visciously complaining about certain labels. Code Red has publicized that orders will be slow to ship due to an injury and we know there's been no scams from them in their history. I guess for some the banter is more interesting than the products but personally I've been checking the thread for news about upcoming releases only to find people speculating about business practices.

It's the Code Red Blu ray discussion thread. Nothing strange about paying customers wondering where their orders are after 40 or whatever days and posting on here due to the fact that they don't get a reply when they use uh... Code Red's email.

I find it funny that by wanting a simple email I am visciously (your spelling) complaining. I love Codered and show that support by buying most of their blu-ray products (check out my collection they are in there).

Even though it did take a while for him to respond (first e-mail was sent on the 2nd), once he did he was very cooperative. I already got my refund, and I'm just going to order them again once the storefront is up and running full steam (unless Diabolik gets them first).

Would like to have had my movies by now, but I've got enough to watch in the meantime, so no harm done. I had ordered from the Code Red storefront a few times in the past and have never had a problem, my orders have usually arrived lightning fast, so I definitely don't think he was trying to screw me over (or anyone else, for that matter). Maybe my order just slipped through the cracks, or maybe he got in a little over his head with orders?

Either way, problem solved.

I wasn't saying that the delay was down to Code Red at all .
After all this time the buyer deserves to either have their discs or at least some communication from the seller .
If the items are genuinely lost in the post then Paypal need to know asap so they can issue a refund . If Code Red didn't send by trackable mail its their loss. If they did they can then seek compensation from the mail carrier.

If this "Bill" is stupid enough to fly into a rage and stop mailing items then he'll deservedly get lots of disputes started .
Regardless of whether he wants to run Code Red as a proper business every buyer who sends him money will expect him to or face the consequences.

I think 45 days is more than enough time to get the problem "resolved between you two".

All it takes is some communication.
A simple "sorry for the delay . Your order is in hand " along with an estimated shipping date is not diificult.
If it is he should hand the business over to someone who can run it properly.

I'm not alone is staying away from places like Facebook so I don't want to have to go there to get info about an order.

I've only ever ordered or wanted one Code Red title and after reading about the guy who runs it I'm really glad.

Bill is flipping out about AlexIlDottore on the Code Red Facebook page:

"french customer AlexIlDottore is posting up a storm in blu-ray.com on code red. I haven't ship to this french guy anything since I stopped overseas shipping. why is he posting crap when I have zero deal with this man in 2013 or 2014? I also got an aussie dude with a vicious mouth in this mix. I see they love kissing synapse and other labels..... BUT THESE LABELS DO NOT SHIP OUTSIDE OF USA either!. thank you."
