I started as most people do by putting in my digital codes from fox movies into movies anywhere. I redeemed my blu digital copy codes of Spy, Joy, DOFP rogue cut, and the 4k digital code of DOFP. All of these went to HDX on VUDU and HD on Fandango Now.

After reading comments about Deadpool thru Itunes, I downloaded ITUNES and set up an account to hook to movies anywhere. I then decided to redeem the code from my blu combo pack of Deadpool thru foxredeem, which then asked me which provider to select, it gave me movies anywhere and then itunes, vudu, or google play individually. I selected Itunes and then checked on itunes, vudu, and Fandango Now and got UHD rights on all three platforms for this movie. I then remembered I bought the 3D combo of Days of Future Past, so that gave me another code to use, I used it following the steps I used for Deadpool and DOFP stayed HDX on VUDU as that is the highest quality they have at the moment but now my FandangoNow copy went to UHD.

I then went to redeem my Blu copy of Kingsman Secret Service and my 4k ID4 at fox redeem then selecting Itunes as the redeemer and I got those in 4k on Itunes and Fandango Now, not VUDU yet as it is only HDX. In case you are wondering, even though I only selected ITUNES as the redeemer, I have Deadpool, ID4, and Kingsman in my ITUNES, VUDU, Google PLay, Amazon, and FandangoNow library. They are 4k in Itunes and FandangoNow.

Looking back though, I got screwed on Spy, Joy, Gone Girl, and X-Men 1st class to get 4k redemptions through my providers, I redeemed them on Movies Anywhere. My 1st class code was from a 4k combo but it only gave me HD rights across all of these, again redeemed at Movies Anywere, even though Fandango Now has UHD. May try to buy cheap blu versions of these on BF and try again.

So from now on, any Fox codes, UHD or blu, I redeem, be it Die Hard, Alien Covenant, Keeping Up with the Joneses, Predator, Kingsman 2, I will go through Itunes. Again, all these movies are on my VUDU and FandangoNow libraries so it won't limit your movies to ITUNES only. I have an LG tv so Itunes isn't on my TV but the other providers are and I can see ID4, Deadpool 1, Kingsman 1, and DOFP on UHD thru Fandango Now on my TV.

Hope this clears up people making a decision on the fox titles. Also make sure the 4k is on Itunes before redeeming a code just to be safe that you get UHD on other platforms.

UHD Fox codes only recently started redeeming as 4K. Older codes redeemed in HD across all disc types, and you need to find a service that was giving free 4K upgrades like ITunes in order to actually get 4K rights (for instance I have a UHD of Murder of the Orient Express but only could get HD digital on that since Fox blocked ITunes redemption, but was able to get 4K digital rights from DVDs of Goodbye Christopher Robin and The Mountain Between Us since they redeemed in ITunes).

and itunes is an option! and the site will give you an itunes code that redeems in 4k/dv/atmos, the only catch is that it's a hidden version that doesn't have any extras and it will only show up in your library. This is the case for the new releases as well.

I have the Twilight Forever collection and tried the codes again last night (all had been previously redeemed). 3, 4, and 5 worked for ITunes (3 also had a Google Play option that the other two didn't), but 1 and 2 were blocked mentioning the previous redemption done in 2014.

Is there anyplace to redeem “Batman - The Animated Series” in HD? It was released a couple of days ago but VUDU is still showing in SD.

I assume since it’s Warner you can’t redeem in iTunes which does have it in HD.

No. There is no place to redeem them in HD right now. The moderator of the Vudu forums reported that they are trying to work with the studio to get them in HD, but there are no promises:

I would not redeem your code right now until we know one way or another if Vudu will be granted the rights to sell/stream the series in HD.

I have the box set but would like the digital copy in HD. It’s a shame that iTunes has it available since that is where I would prefer it to be redeemed.

Can anyone shed more light on the single Dark Knight Trilogy(UK) 4k code. The 4K sheet notes no for UHD in either of Vudu or Fandango Now. How would I redeem to get 4k (I have been burned with iTunes 4k bundles (MA support said it’s a known issue bundles redeemed/bought in iTunes only port to HD in MA)

Any UK code like that would have to be redeemed on Flixster UK but AFAIK you can't make a new Flixster UK account. I've tried and it always defaults to Canada, even when using a UK proxy/VPN. But if you can make or have a Flixster UK account, you redeem the code there and connect it to a UV account. You can connect UV to Vudu and get it in 4K there and then connect Vudu to MA for 4K in iTunes.

Movies Anywhere (MA) redemption will port to connected accounts with iTunes, Vudu, Amazon, Google Play, FandangoNOW, and Microsoft Movies & TV. But will not have UV rights at Vudu. When available, you can redeem codes at iTunes. They will port to Vudu, Amazon, and Google Play but, will not have UV rights at Vudu.

Thanks for the post! I tried it this morning & it showed the cover but not the individual episodes. I figured they had it down to change it over. I just tried it & it finally redeemed in HDX!

Could someone tell me if Heat - Director's Definitive Edition from Blu-ray redeems in UV or Itunes or both? For some reason, my slip only says redeem in iTunes but I haven't come across iTunes only codes, so just double-checking.

It's a Fox title, meaning no UV but will have Movies Anywhere. Probably best to redeem it on ITunes if it will still let you for 4K upgrade if that is/becomes available, but either way it will port to ITunes and other linked Movies Anywhere services.
