Indeed but I think the Sigs will be out of the picture and I was told the same by a my dealer that Paradigm would replace the Sigs by a higher end speaker.

This is why I said this seems to be what is going to replace the Sigs but forgot to mention as the new flagship.

this is all speculation, again I can be wrong.

I know for sure, that at some point they will offer a new series with built in Atmos, question is will, they reveal it at this event?

If they do reveal a new higher-end model, wouldn't it be nice if they have the new Signature series replace the Studio's!

I hope the prices come crashing down on the current signature line, like they did in 2009-2010!

Hi guys,

I need some advice regarding the ADP590 v5 dipole surrounds. So I bought the system awhile back but I never installed the system as I was moving house.

As far as the connection of the ADP590s go, I read on AVSforum that I need to swop the left surrounds for the right channel and the right surround speaker for the left channel. I think this what I read.

Which confused me. I'm getting a technician to install the speakers next week, so I need to know how to properly connect up the ADP590s to my system. But I remember that it's not a typical straight-forward install, at least according to the comments over at AVS forums.

Please advise.

did you read you paradigm manual? right surround on the right bro

It would be cool to see an even higher end line than the signatures, but hopefully the prices are not out of reach!

How many members on this site own the signature line? My buddy wants to get a pair and would love to hear feedback on the S8's.

I have a question on a set of Paradigm Legend v3 speakers. I currently have an opportunity to buy a pair for $300 in excellent condition and my current speakers are a set of Polk Audio Monitor 70's. I'm just wondering if the Paradigms are better sounding than the Polks, and overall what you members think of the Legends. I use them for music only.

Is $300 a pair a fair price for a used pair?

Well, I'd still expect a drop in price and I also heard they don't sound as good as neither the Studios, or Signatures! They have a harsh cold sound to them, unlike the studios/Sigs, which are more warmer and bright as it is! The bass is tight and punchy, but does not go as low as the Studio 100.

This will be a good thing or a bad thing, when it comes to people wanting an upgrade or grabbing sales for the older models!

..yea? not sure about the sound. Tweeter design seems to be between Monitor/Studio, on AVS. can't confirm that either. Cabinet fit n finish/drivers looks ok, not anywhere as formal as studios IMO.
I would hope these are replacing the Monitor line, but with their price point, It seems not.
to sum it up, not liking the direction this is heading.
Studio & Sigs are the bread & butter, let's hope for another reveal.
I can't see anyone owning Studios wanting to "upgrade"?

if this is the future? RIP studio V.5 last of the legend

It'd be wise to try them out, sound test. Listen if they are an improvement to you. Check out the Fit & finish, damage anywhere to the tweets/drivers/cabinet/binding post/rattles etc...
turn those polks to surrounds/another room/sell/gift

As per Paradigm's Facebook page, they have confirmed that the Prestige series will be in between Studios and Signatures. That's quite disappointing. Judging just by looks, it doesn't look as good as the Studios. It makes more sense that it would be an upgrade to the Monitors. A couple AVS forum members were able to demo these and said they don't sound as good as the Studios with the highs being to harsh, recessed mids and tighter bass. Seems more like a V shape sound. One of the AVS forum members asked the Paradigm rep at CEDIA about the future of the Studio line and the response was that they will slowly phase out the Studio line.
