Watched Lady Snowblood 2

Crooked politicians. Anarchist perverts. The Plague. A Geisha-chick with an umbrella sword. And enuff Kensington-Gore coloured arterial blood-spray to keep the troops happy. That and several lopped off arms & eye gouges, you'd have sworn the guys from Monty Python saw this and said "man, let's do this with medieval knights & a rabbit".

Essential family viewing.

The only black friday thing I ordered was Star Trek The Next Generation Complete Collection from Amazon UK for 59 quids. I am not sure if that is even worth it or if someone knows of a cheaper way to get it?

I am still waiting fr them to charge me (funnily enough)

Picked up these from JB over the weekend

And OMG, each of these with the exception for Vol.2 ($20) were marked only $10 before the 20% off! So only $8 for most of them. Not to mention probably the only time I've seen them all in stock at the same store during a 20% off sale.

Finally watched Mad Max:Fury Road. I find it weird how Max has so few lines in this movie and his character is not explained at all.
[Show spoiler]The ending where he nods at Theron is a big LOL.
It's nowhere near as good as Gibson's version. And Hardy's accent is all over the place with a couple of Bane sounding sentences thrown in there.

Also, how does that old lady carry around a bunch of seeds in an open bag out in the middle of desert? They be lucky to be viable after about a few weeks in those conditions.

Purchases during current 20% off JB sale:

THE DROP and BLUE IS THE WARMEST COLOUR as 2x $30.

SPY R 18+ for censorship reference, $30. The McOz office will go without staff biscuits for 2 months to pay for this.

MONSTER $25. Gave up waiting for a price drop!

I bought all these boxsets from Zavvi during the sales:

The Harry Potter and Twilight sets are an Xmas gift for my mum...can't wait to see her face when she opens them...she's wanted them on Bluray for ages! ♪

Also got these from JB HiFi (Aliens Anthology is another gift for Xmas):
