I'd rather give money straight to Bananaman, shipping delays and ridiculous behavior and all But yeah. The Ronin decision is idiotic.
But DeFalco *is* The Demon!

DECISIONS COULD BE MADE

That's honestly my main gripe, petty as it is, I just feel stupid giving him money. Not necessarly because of CHAOS, but just the whole demeanor behind Dark Force is rubbing me the wrong way. Also, their shipping prices to Canada suck compared to Ronin. Oh well, I might order from them eventually, although some titles might end up on the bucket list for now... sad to say.

Hopefully Diabolik will still be getting new releases.

Thanks for the heads up! I was able to nab a couple of titles that were cheaper there than Ronin, DF, or the Cartel, lol

Darkforce are unscupulous scalpers, little slimy pieces of dogturd and I'll never order from them.

Nah, I've ordered all Ronin + diabolik "exclusives" directly from Bill. The 2 year wait times don't bother me, I just contrast Bills shipping times with Dorado films and then it seems like same day shipping.

I wish I could order directly from Bill, but that's impossible since I live in a terrorist nation.

Personally I don't understand his reluctance to ship to Canada, at the very least. USPS First-Class Parcel to Canada is 100% trackable right up to delivery.

Just another reason why I find it advantageous to rent a US mailbox down in Buffalo.

I have found out why orders are taking so long to arrive. On Bill's website it states:

DUE TO WEATHER ORDERS MIGHT TAKE LONGER THAN USUAL SO REMEMBER THIS BEFORE ORDERING

So unless you live someplace with no atmosphere such as the moon, all orders will be affected.

Sweet Baby Charlie might be one of my favorite Code Red releases. It's a pulse pounding thriller with a mean spirit. It looks amazing too. This is a must own title.

Scorpion Releasing in conjunction with TVA presents Peter Carter's 1977 backwood Thriller RITUALS. Here is the debut of our cool custom cover art by Nathan Thomas Milliner. The first 2000 copies will have a slip sleeve. We are restoring this film from several different elements so it will be a few months before we release the film. The bonus features from the original Code Red DVD will be included on our release. We will keep you updated on the release.

From Dark Force Entertainment's latest update (which by the sound of it looks like the place where we'll be finding the latest Code Red titles now that Ronin Flix appears to be out):

"MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT:
Some heavy hitters making their way to the Dark Force online store next week. The #2 single's release from Dark Force KILL OR BE KILLED and now...THE CARRIER on Blu-Ray new single's release from Code Red!! The unholy union of Dark Force and Code Red is back with a vengeance!
The Dark Force online store now accepts All Major Credit Cards!

I’ve always said I’d never pass on movies I want based on who was releasing them, and would probably own all the midnight double features at this point but I simply can’t get myself to pull the trigger. I can’t give money to the director of chaos, not only does the movie suck but DeFalco(DF) simply comes off as a ******* and a *****and also a son of a *****. I guess I’ll just have to hope all the titles show up at the cartel and spread my orders out more for shipping.

Also for the first time ever I added a user to my ignore list and all of a sudden there’s a lot less BS in this thread

Really getting down on defalco because he is a wrestler & bodybuilder with the attitude to go along with it? His whole schtick and attitude is very typical for that profession.

My thought is, at least he is trying to make something of himself and he is taking more risks to be successful than many people do. Maybe be doesn't have the ability to be a brain surgeon, but if he's able to make money wrestling and is ambitious enough to take the financial risk in launching a small horror movie business that's a lot better than doing nothing with your life.
